Warranty

This limited warranty applies to Crock-Pot products and is provided by Sunbeam Products, Inc., or by Newell Brands Canada ULC for items purchased in Canada. It is extended solely to the original purchaser and is valid for products bought within the United States or Canada. When used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the care and operating instructions provided by Crock-Pot, the product is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase or the date of delivery, whichever is later.

This warranty is only applicable to products purchased directly from Crock-Pot or from authorized retailers. Purchases made through unauthorized sellers, including unverified online marketplaces, may not be eligible for warranty coverage, except as required by law. Consumers are encouraged to confirm that their seller is authorized to ensure the product qualifies for warranty protection.

Certain types of damage are excluded from this limited warranty. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance, and damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, or failure to follow care instructions are not covered. Issues arising from incorrect electrical voltage or current, as well as products that have been modified, disassembled, or repaired by anyone other than Crock-Pot or an authorized service provider, are excluded. Damage caused by natural disasters, including fire, floods, or other uncontrollable events, is also not covered. Additionally, using the product for commercial purposes or in ways inconsistent with household use will void the warranty. Loss, theft, or other misplacement of the product is not covered under this warranty.

Customers should avoid attempting repairs or modifications on any electrical or mechanical components, as unauthorized service may result in denial of coverage. This warranty does not extend to routine maintenance or non-warranty service, and Crock-Pot is not responsible for damages resulting from repairs conducted outside approved service channels.

To make a warranty claim, customers should submit a request through the official Crock-Pot website or contact customer support during regular business hours. Proof of purchase and delivery information is required, and photographs of the product may be requested to assist in evaluating the claim. In some cases, the product may need to be sent to Crock-Pot for inspection. A Return Merchandise Authorization number will be issued when shipping is necessary, and this number must be clearly marked on the package. Customers are responsible for sending the product, while return shipping will be covered by Crock-Pot.

If a defect is confirmed and qualifies under the warranty, Crock-Pot will provide a replacement product. If the original model is unavailable, a comparable item currently in production will be provided. No other remedies are offered, and liability for damages beyond replacement is explicitly excluded.

This warranty is the exclusive coverage provided, with implied warranties limited to the same one-year duration where legally permitted. Certain jurisdictions may not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so some provisions may not apply universally. The warranty grants specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary depending on location.

This limited warranty supersedes any other warranty statements found in product packaging or manuals and is effective as of July 19, 2024. Customers may request a printed copy by contacting customer support. All information submitted during warranty claims is used internally and handled in accordance with company privacy practices.
